MadGoat MaKe utility (MMK) V3.9-10MMK is a "make" utility for VMS systems. It is used for building software systems based on a "description file" (or "makefile") you create that lists the sources and objects of a system and the dependencies between them. MMK provides similar functionality to Digital's DEC/Module Management System (DEC/MMS); the description files MMK uses are compatible with DEC/MMS, with some extensions. The MMK documentation contains an appendix describing the differences between MMK and DEC/MMS. MMK runs on VAX/VMS, OpenVMS VAX, Alpha, and IA64 systems. Note that support for VAX systems may be dropped in future releass. MMK V3.9-6 or later is required for compatibility with OpenVMS Alpha V7.3-1. MMK is written entirely in C.
